Continuous Integration with Dagger is Now Available
Since 1991, Continuous Integration (CI) has been crucial to the success of the modern software development lifecycle, enabling teams to deploy hundreds of times per day. Now that agents write all the code, it’s even more important to have CI as a safeguard, so that agents aren’t changing what your prompts didn’t intend.
Starting today, you can use Dagger to natively run your CI on Entire. Dagger is a third-generation CI system that lets you run the same pipelines before and after pushing with shared caching and scalable compute. Dagger operates natively within Trails, our new primitive that replaces the pull request, putting confidence evals and your agent sessions at the heart of review. Run Dagger on your Trails and it reports pipeline results to your Gates, right next to the code and context they checked. Gates are our version of checks, which you can configure to decide what must pass before a Trail can merge.
To try it yourself, follow the steps below:
Setting Up the Entire + Dagger Integration
- On entire.com go to Projects, select the project in which you want to enable Dagger, then click on Plugins.
- Choose the Dagger plugin and click Install. You will be routed to the Dagger integrations page.
- Then you will need to select the project and under that the repositories the plugin can access. Click Install to complete the plugin installation.
- Enable the Dagger plugin on an Entire Repo or Mirror, and enable Head and Trails checks on the new Entire source on the Dagger sources page.
- Pushing Trails or merging to the default branch will now trigger Dagger builds.

Welcome to the Rebellion, Dagger
Just as we at Entire have rebuilt the forge for the age of agent-written code, Dagger is rebuilding CI for an agent-native future. We are excited to make Dagger natively available on Entire for any developer. It joins our existing integrations with Buildkite and Depot, so you have a range of CI solutions to choose from.
As always, join our Discord and let us know what you think. Beep, boop.
