Entire Expands into Southeast Asia, Bringing First AI-Native Git Forge with Data Residency to Singapore
29 October 2026
Developers can now store code in Singapore on Entire for agent scale, high availability, and data sovereignty.
October 29, 2026 — Today Entire, founded by former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, expanded its distributed Git forge to Singapore, giving developer teams a data-resident GitHub alternative built specifically for agent-human collaboration.
“Every company should have a choice in where its code resides. Yet organizations in Singapore, from financial services to logistics and advanced manufacturing, have had to wait far too long for a sovereign hosting solution. Not to mention, one that can also handle the output of agents now writing most of the code,” said Thomas Dohmke, CEO, Entire. “Today, we’re bringing data residency to Singapore, running on the fastest, most scalable Git forge in production, so developers and agents can keep code at home and push, pull, and clone close to where they build.”
Developers in Singapore can create, migrate, and natively host private repositories on Entire’s distributed Git forge, setting Singapore as their primary region and source of truth for data residency. Developers push, pull, and clone close to where they work, meaning lower latency without bottlenecks. Built for simultaneous, high-volume agent activity, Entire pushes up to 89x faster than GitHub and 6x faster than Cursor Origin.
Native repositories on Entire run with no GitHub origin. If GitHub goes down, agents keep shipping. Teams that want to keep GitHub as their origin can mirror their repositories to Entire instead, so agents clone and pull from Singapore, or region of choice, while pushes route back to GitHub.
The expansion follows this week’s launch of Entire’s Git forge, now available to every developer, with code hosting, reimagined review, CI integrations and continuous memory for every agent.
Singapore joins the US, UK, EU, India, and Australia on Entire’s distributed Git forge, and is its first region in Southeast Asia, with further global expansion coming soon.
