Read docs/ENGINEERING_BLUEPRINT.md and docs/prompts/README.md. Continue Prompt 2 from the blocked OpenCode proof. Recheck preflight. Preserve changes, stay on main, commit each verified phase before the next, and spend nothing.

yesterday·3.5s

I’ll first read the repo guidance, both requested docs, the current Git/preflight state, and Entire’s command guidance. Because this is a non-trivial continuation, I’m also using the Community Wisdom skill to check relevant developer experience before the final wrap-up; I’ll keep all work on main, preserve existing changes, and avoid any paid services.

The repository is still on main with the planning/Foundation work uncommitted, and Entire is enabled in the existing e9585b0 commit. The blueprint’s gate is clear: Prompt 2 resumes at Foundation, and no later phase may begin until the native OpenCode proof, applicable checks, and the single Foundation commit are verified. I’m now reconstructing the exact blocked proof and rerunning preflight before touching implementation.

Preflight has materially improved: DNS and localhost now pass, OpenCode 2.0.32 starts under disposable storage, and the repo remains on main. No model call or spending has occurred. Entire’s hooks did record this session, but it is already marked exited and has no pending checkpoint preview, so EP-06 is still inconclusive; I’ll avoid changing setup and continue with the bounded native/free-model contract proof.

The official V2 contract and local catalog now agree: OpenCode 2 uses @opencode/client, and opencode/deepseek-v4.1-flash-free is currently listed at zero token price. I’m creating a tiny committed proof fixture with explicit V2 permission rules, then I’ll use at most two free model operations: one denied edit and one narrowly allowed edit. This is the skill-guided proof step; it changes only proof-scoped files and makes no account or setup changes.

EP-02’s denial half passed: session ses_e6fcb00eeffeM04R1WNW53uSyM attempted the native write, OpenCode returned Permission denied: edit, the file stayed absent, and reported cost was 0. I’m running the matching allowed edit now; if it does not produce the exact file, I’ll stop rather than broaden permissions.

Both native proof halves now pass at zero reported cost: the second session (ses_e6fcabfd5ffeS2jIJNg4L7haaQ) created only allowed.txt, and its exact SHA-256 is 1a2234…b01. Before selecting dependencies or committing, I’m checking the remaining Foundation gate—public-repo exposure, prompt redistribution risk, and exact client/server compatibility—because those determine whether the current untracked docs can safely enter the phase commit.

The first client probe reached the local server but failed its readiness/auth check; it made no model call or repository change. The server printed a short-lived generated credential into its private temporary log, which has already been deleted. I’m retrying once with an explicit throwaway local password and authenticated client headers, keeping the credential out of recorded output.

The matching official client proof now passes: @opencode/client@2.0.32 connected to OpenCode server 2.0.32, created native session ses_e6fc984a3ffeFaf19Vk11620XE, and received the native server.connected event. EP-01/02 are therefore satisfied within the zero-cost bound. I’m moving into the rest of Foundation only—locking the approved TypeScript/OpenCode stack, adding the thin server/client boundary and contract checks, then I’ll verify the whole phase before any commit.

The Foundation skeleton and exact dependency lock are in place without paid services. I’m at the verification pass now: type contracts, prompt completeness, native permission fixture, production build, and a live local health/engine probe. Any failure stays inside this phase and will be fixed before staging or committing.

The implemented Foundation core now passes typecheck, production build, all seven tests, and a live authenticated client/server probe; the app reports OpenCode 2.0.32 with the required free model available. The remaining phase gate is external evidence, not code: Backboard and Sentry credentials are absent, and Entire still needs trustworthy capture/checkpoint evidence. I’m diagnosing Entire read-only and recording the exact gate before deciding whether this phase is eligible to commit.

Foundation is eligible for its phase commit: all core checks pass, partner-dependent work is explicitly blocked without weakening its later acceptance criteria, and Entire has a pending checkpoint preview tied to this exact user prompt and 21 touched files. I found no credential-like material in the owned files. I’m staging only the Foundation/docs set now, reviewing the index, then committing with the blueprint’s prescribed subject.

Foundation is committed on main as 14fc6a6 with the prescribed subject. I’m verifying the commit object, clean tree, and Entire’s automatically created checkpoint now; I will not begin Workflow unless all three are sound.

The Foundation gate is complete: commit 14fc6a6 is clean, and Entire checkpoint 01M683PGNKWVGNV1SEFKS51S73 is readable, tied to main, the commit, session, touched files, and redaction metadata. I’m entering Workflow now and only now. This phase will add the durable eight-section state machine, exact-version approvals, selective invalidation, idempotent actions, atomic recovery, and native-operation reconciliation—then receive its own full verification and commit.

Workflow’s deterministic suite now passes 15 tests, including exact approvals, selective dependency invalidation, idempotent action IDs, corrupt-snapshot preservation, local mutation-token enforcement, and UNKNOWN-to-native reconciliation. I’m running the phase’s live restart proof now: persist one revision, stop the app, restart against the same data, retry the same action, and confirm no duplicate effect.

Workflow has passed its full gate, including the live restart/idempotency proof, with no new model calls or spending. I’m staging only this phase’s workflow, API, tests, and execution-record updates; then I’ll commit and inspect the second Entire checkpoint before considering Experience.

Workflow is committed cleanly as abf87f7; Entire created checkpoint 01M683TTG8444432TG4KT58HNJ, and the tree is clean on main. I’m stopping at this safe phase boundary rather than starting Experience without enough room to complete and verify its browser journey and commit. I’m doing one final checkpoint/detail and repository audit for a precise handoff.

Implemented and committed two verified phases on main; nothing was pushed or purchased.

  • 14fc6a6 — OpenCode-backed Foundation.
  • abf87f7 — durable workflow and native execution state.
  • Preflight passes DNS, localhost, Node, and OpenCode checks.
  • Free DeepSeek native edit and explicit denial both passed at reported cost $0.
  • Exact @opencode/client@2.0.32 server/session/event integration passed.
  • Typecheck, build, audit, live restart proof, and all 15 tests pass.
  • Entire checkpoints: 01M683PGNKWVGNV1SEFKS51S73 and 01M683TTG8444432TG4KT58HNJ.
  • Tree is clean on main, three commits ahead of origin/main.

Remaining constraints:

  • Backboard and Sentry proofs are blocked by absent credentials; no account changes were attempted.
  • Entire’s local checkpoints work, but its remote remains unreachable.
  • Prompt redistribution rights require resolution before pushing the prompt bundle to the public repository.
  • Experience has not started; its next safe unit is the complete browser journey and must receive its own verified commit.

The execution record is current in ENGINEERING_BLUEPRINT.md.

  • DevRelay’s community gateway was unavailable in this session, so I did not fabricate or substitute DEV citations.

The repository is left at a clean, verified phase boundary, ready for the Experience phase.
