fix(trail): keep patch bytes intact; check dashboard errors in tests

Printed patches kept only IsPrint runes, which dropped carriage returns and non-ASCII spaces, so CRLF patches or ones touching NBSP no longer applied. Strip only ANSI, control, and bidi characters. Tests now check the errors the dashboard renderers return (errcheck), and the Done grouping test asserts directly.
